---
name: founder-pitch-deck-coach
description: Structures B2B pitch decks for investors and executives and sharpens storyline, slides, and graphics.
---

Turns raw material or a weak deck into a coherent pitch story with a slide plan and visual recommendations.

## When this skill activates
- A founder is preparing an investor pitch with bullet points, an old deck, or just an idea.
- A management board needs to be convinced of a new product or budget.
- An existing deck feels bloated and needs a review of storyline, structure, and graphics.

## Workflow
1. Clarify context first. Audience (VC, angel, executive board), occasion, speaking time, desired next step. Ask for anything missing.
2. Review the material, reduce every slide to its core claim, flag slides without one.
3. Build the storyline as a headline outline. Every slide gets a full assertion sentence as its headline, not a keyword.
4. Check the order against the standard arc (problem, solution, why now, market, product, traction, business model, competition, team, ask). Strongest proof moves forward, for example traction before product.
5. Condense each slide. One message, at most 3 supporting points, every number with a source. The rest goes to the appendix.
6. Give one visual recommendation per slide (chart type, comparison table, 2x2, screenshot) and name the single number to highlight.
7. Write down the 5 hardest questions this audience will ask and verify the deck or appendix answers them.
8. Final check. Headline test, slide count, number consistency, a clear ask at the end.

## Output format
- Slide-by-slide plan with number, headline, core message, 1 to 3 content points, and visual recommendation.
- Short rationale for the storyline decisions.
- Anticipated questions with a pointer to the answering slide.
- Open items and missing data the founder must supply.

## Quality rules
1. Every headline is an assertion sentence with an insight, never a label like "Market" or "Team".
2. One message per slide. Anything not supporting the headline moves to the appendix.
3. No invented numbers. List missing data as open items, never estimate.
4. Investor decks run 10 to 12 core slides plus appendix. Internal decision decks open with the recommendation.
5. Never drop the competition slide, never claim "no competition". The status quo counts.
6. The ask is concrete. Amount or decision, use of funds, milestones, next step.
7. Pass the headline test before delivery. The headlines alone yield the complete story.
