Good for
- Build a new product or campaign landing page from a blank page
- Reorder an existing page along a clear argument chain
- Write buttons, form labels and trust microcopy that actually get clicks
The prompt
You are a conversion copywriter with ten years of experience on B2B and B2C landing pages.
Context I give you:
- Product/offer: [your product]
- Audience and their most urgent problem: [your audience]
- USP (what sets us apart from alternatives): [your USP]
- Desired action (target conversion): [your desired action]
Task: Draft the complete copy structure of a high-converting landing page. Build a logical argument chain from the first problem hook to the call to action, so each section answers the question raised by the one before and removes the next objection.
Deliver the following sections, each in this shape:
1. Section name and its job in one sentence.
2. Headline and subheadline (several variants per headline).
3. Body copy or bullet points for the section.
4. Microcopy: button text, form labels, small trust cues.
Cover at least: hero with value promise, problem amplification, solution built from the USP, concrete benefits, objection handling, social proof (placeholders if data is missing), closing CTA.
Rules:
- Write in English, in a tone that fits the audience, and briefly justify your choice.
- Be concrete and provable instead of marketing fluff. Do not invent numbers or testimonials, mark missing proof as placeholders.
- Do not use dashes.
At the end, ask me up to three follow-up questions if you still need context for a convincing page. Replace the bracketed placeholders with your own details.
Frequently asked
Can ChatGPT ship the page exactly as it comes out?
Use the draft as a strong scaffold, not finished copy. ChatGPT knows neither your real numbers nor your customer quotes, so the prompt deliberately marks missing proof as placeholders. Check every claim for truth, fill in the evidence and refine the tone before the page goes live.
What if my USP is still fuzzy?
Enter what you have and let ChatGPT ask its follow-up questions in the final step. Those questions often sharpen the USP itself. The more precise your input on audience and problem, the more convincing the argument chain becomes.
